Promises

I promise to follow my heart
to do what is pleasing to me
to shine the light of my gifts
for what is destined to be

I promise to move through fear
no matter what the ego might say
I promise to look to Spirit
as the light to guide my way

I promise that when I falter
when my faith seems somehow to fade
to stop and reflect for a moment
upon the first promise I made

For in that promise is remembering
the Truth of all that I am
tuning into my Source
the execution of a Divine Plan

So from here I promise to go forward
on the path that is pleasing to me
and enjoying each special moment
of the person I am destined to be
