Poem of Resignation | Poetry Full Time
Here is the poem I put into my letter of resignation at the law office I’ve been employed by for the last seven years. I’m devoting all my time to Personal Verse. Look for new items, posts, and pages in the coming month.
I thought I could continue
to stay on in a part time capacity
but it has become ever so clear
that would not be the best choice for me
To change the course of my journey
with this job I must have closure
so I may fully pursue my heart’s desire
that I must do this now, I am sure
Yet I am leaving heavy hearted
It has been quite difficult to let go
of the people I’ve grown to love
and a profession I’ve come to know
I’ve decided to leave my position
as your law office administrator
with this, my poem of resignation
and faith and trust in my Creator

The Author: Jayanne
About: Jayanne Sindt began rhyming her way into solutions to problems as an adolescent and has worked through personal dramas using verse for others as well as for her self. She discovered that the verse could be used for any occasion, and gifted friends and family with many poems of celebration, condolence and affection.
She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development and Family Relations at the University of Connecticut and continues her education through personal discovery and spiritual endeavors. She is a student of A Course In Miracles and The Artist’s Way and attends workshops regularly. She has been writing poetry for 25 years and enjoys getting together with creative friends and trying different crafts.
She is now living her heart’s desire through her business Personal Verse, providing an avenue of expression to others. It is a magical experience to provide Jayanne with just a few words of information and see it transformed into verse.
