Personal Verse | To Thine Own Self Be True
This world that is illusion
can not dictate how I feel
yet sometimes I’m in confusion
as to what is actually real
Nothing can define me
not my gender, race or name
yet others must remind me
that all this is just a game
So I watch my emotions tumble
through the perception clouding Vision
and as my brain does rumble
I come to a decision…
Each moment is up to me
for I am given a choice
of whether or not to be happy
and listen to the still quiet voice
The one so gently speaking
reminding me of who I am
the answer that I am seeking
is within my own Master Plan
