March Madness | Spring Ahead
March is not just about the playoffs this season
There is madness this month for many a reason
It seems that so far, I have many a woe
like the never ending winter and the unmelted snow
the hour of morning lost in the savings
the need to lose weight, yet having sweet cravings
at least mid-month we have an Irish celebration
when we all wear green and join in libation
but then right away I feel like a loon,
with that Bunny arriving two weeks too soon
Is it just me, or are events occurring too early?
It all has me feeling quite a bit squirrelly
A month full of events that somehow seem strange
or is it simply my fear? - not wanting to change…
Well, I’ll tell you this much, in spite of everything
I’m all ready for April and the shift into Spring
